ENTRY GUIDELINES - Auditions
Audition entries are due December 7, 11:59 pm EST. You must choose a character to doll consistently through this contest, maintaining the same hair and eye color as well as complexion. They MUST be male. There is no base size restriction, however we ask that you limit your total entry size so it does not eat the screen and the other entries. You must use the same base or base set for each challenge. You are allowed to change poses. Your entry should consist of two dolls. A portrait of their 'normal' self and a full body of their Super Hero alter ego. All entries must be submitted in transparent gif or png format. You are allowed TWO entries per doller. The auditions are open to anyone interested. Once all entries are received, the public will vote for their favorites and the judges will score the dolls. The final ranks will be released along with awards each round. THERE ARE NO ELIMINATIONS. Voting will last for ONE week. The winners will be announced and notified by email.
CONTEST PROCEDURE - Challenge Rounds
You must doll your audition character consistently through this contest maintaining the same hair, eye, and skin color. You must use the same base and/or base set as your audition, but alternative poses are permitted. New challenges will be posted on Mondays. Contestants will then have TWO weeks to complete and turn in their entry. Late entries will be considered disqualified unless an extension is granted. Judges will score each of the entries, and public voting will be opened to the public. Voting will last for ONE week. There are no eliminations. Ranks for the round will be announced along with awards for that challenge. This procedure will continue until the final round, at which time the scores from all the previous rounds will be factored at the Mister Marvelous winner will be announced.
GENERAL CONTEST RULES
No Frankendolling or drag and drops. The entire doll (props and backgrounds included) should be your own original work. Line art is permitted, but you must provide credit. No recycled dolls. You should create something new to meet the challenges, not submit an existing piece of work. Props and backgrounds are permitted, but they should only be used in conjunction with the challenges and should not eclipse the doll. (i.e. the prop or background is larger/stands out more than the doll) The artistic and tasteful use of nudity and blood will be allowed. All entries should be submitted in transparent gif or png format. No more than two entries per contestant is allowed.
