Welcome to Mister Marvelous

So what is Mister Marvelous? To sum it up most concisely... okay. I can't do concise. Mister Marvelous is a three round non-elimination doll contest in which contestants will doll the same person/character they have chosen, but meeting the challenges that the judges put to them. For example, one round could be a formal wear challenge. Meaning the contestants doll their character in formal wear that their character would pick out for themself.

However, this being a contest hosted by Properly Scandalized and sponsored by late night productions you can expect the unexpected from the rather random and creative minds of our judges. The dolls may be manly and traditional, but the challenges will be out of the ordinary. I would tell you what to expect, but then that would give away the excitement and challenge, now wouldn't it? Oh - all right, I will give you an example. We might ask you to doll your character in a DIY (or Do It Yourself) outfit. This means they are either dressed to do a specific DIY project, or... they dressed themselves. You decide!

So if you're interested in participating, just check out the RULES and read through the submission guidelines and our contest rules and procedures. Be sure to read and understand everything (don't hesitate to email any questions) before submitting your entry. Good luck and best wishes!

Polls Open For Round I!

1.05.2009 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everyone had a safe and happy celebration and that you are able to join us for the first round of our Mister Marvelous competition! You get to vote on the public's favorite MISTER MOM! So head on over and check it out now - voting is only opened for a week.

12.30.2008 - Two more entries to share with you! I have to admit... this challenge is cracking me up. I hope everyone else is enjoying it as much as the judges are!

12.29.2008 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I hope yours are/were safe and wonderful. I have four new entries for you all to peruse as we wait for the remainders to come in. Just a reminder that the deadline for our next round is January 4, 2009!

12.15.2008 - Our first round challenge as been posted! And awards for the audition round are also up for claiming under the awards link!

12.15.2008 - The poll for public's favorite has closed! The awards are in the process as I tabulate the judges scores and everything will be posted by 9:00 pm EST. Including the next rounds challenge and deadline!

12.08.2008 - And our deadline has past! We had some last minute entries come in, and we were very excited to see them. The more the merrier! Judges are tallying scores for auditions and the poll has been posted for public's favorite on the auditions. Scores and awards will be posted on Monday, Dec 15 along with the first round's challenge!

12.05.2008 - One day to our deadline and we have a new entry! Come on, folks, don't miss your chance to participate in this truly manly pageant!

11.28.2008 - Happy (belated) Thanksgiving to all who celebrate the things that they are grateful for in their life! We have a new entry and only NINE days left until the deadline. So don't take too long...
